GSC 2019 SUMMER DAY CAMP

posted Jul 1, 2019, 5:38 PM

Welcome to the Glengarry Skating Club 2019 Summer Day camp! We’re excited to be offering this new program, and we hope that this is the first of many years to come.

You can find the schedule here for both the Primary (Star1-3) and the Star Academy (CanSkate Stage4-6) skaters:

https://www.glengarryfsc.com/pages/Schedules/

Things to remember:

  • A responsible adult must come into the building and sign-in and sign-out your skater every day. If there is anything that the Camp Leader should know, please write it into the box on the sheet marked ‘Notes’.
  • Meals and snacks are not provided by the GSC. You must supply your skater with any food for the day. Please be respectful of food allergies that others may have. (Peanuts, tree nuts, shellfood, etc …)
  • You skater will be both inside and outside over the course of the day. Please be sure to send them with running shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and proper training clothes for both on-ice and dryland sessions.
  • The Camp Leader will be happy to help your skater to get their skates on and off. If you skater is already capable of tying their own skates, they can just let the Camp Leader know.

We look forward to having your skater with us this summer. As this is a new program, I would be happy to hear any feedback you may have going forward, as we may be able to make tweaks on the fly.

Happy skating.
