SUMMER 2021

The registration for the Glengarry SC Summer 2021 program will open at 6:00am on Sunday, June 6, 2021. We will be running for 6 weeks (July 5 - August 13), Monday - Friday, from 7:30am - 1:00pm. We will also be running an additional week (August 16-19) for those skaters attending the BC/YK SS SummerSkate competition in Burnaby. There will be one session for Star Academy & Primary, one session for Primary/Intermediate StarSkaters, and two sessions for Int/Sen StarSkaters & CompetitiveSkaters. All 6 weeks of Summer 2021 sessions will open for registration at this time. The detailed information regarding session times and groupings can be found on the Summer 2021 schedule on the GSC website under the 'Schedules' tab.
Due to the current guidelines that have been issued by BC/YK Skate Canada and viaSport, we will be limiting all sessions to 12 skaters. We will NOT be doing a staggered registration this year. If your skater is unable to get onto any session and you would like them to, PLEASE PUT THEM ON THE WAITLIST. We will do our best to accommodate all skaters so they can skate all the sessions they want.
We are asking all skaters and parents to remain flexible this summer. In order get skaters onto all sessions, you may register for A session but be moved to C, or vice-versa. We are also asking our Intermediate StarSkaters to be willing to move between the Int/Sen/Comp session & the Primary. These changes are so that we can get all skaters on the ice. Mr B will contact all parents by phone before making any changes.

Ice Parade 2021 - 'Showcase'
Skater groupings and the rehearsal schedule for our upcoming IP21 'Showcase' are now posted on the 'Schedule' tab of the GSC website:

The schedule for the videoing day (June 19, 2021) will be post separately once we have confirmed the timeline with our videographer and photographer.
We understand that these times may conflict with other activities for your skater(s). We are asking you to please make arrangements for your skater to be at ALL rehearsal practices. We only have a very limited number of days scheduled, and won't be able to go back and re-teach choreography that has already been taught. It is only the one week, and is important to the club.
